Small Fireplace: Open Front, No Glass!

This small fireplace was designed for use with gas coal burner. Combine the gas coal burner with the cast iron baskets/fronts.

The fireplace can be installed into 2"x4" frame construction just like any prefabricated b-vent style fireplace. It is unique in that it uses minimal floor space (only 13" deep!) and it has no glass window to interfere with your unobstructed view of the fire. Since it has an open front with no glass window, the 5" b-vent style chimney must vent vertically and clear the roof line per local codes for b-vent appliances. Gas line can enter the fireplace through the floor or the back wall of the fireplace.
This zero clearance firebox allows you to install a gas or propane fireplace in places previuosly unavailable.
Can be used in new construction or as insert in standard factroy-built fireplace.
